Yesterday’s post held a bit of how Mister and I spent part of a day at Venice Beach. Today’s post is about how we spent the later part of the evening: at a gallery closing for our friends and their fab project, flipbookit!

The show’s last night was happening. The space was packed and the scene was b-a-n-a-n-a-s! The installation itself involved the works of multiple artists, animated and incorporated into individual flipbookits. The works were varied and colorful. Some were contemplative, others were hilarious: a robot doing the robot dance? Yes, please.

I’ve blogged about these artists before, and Mister and I are super-fans of their work. It’s fun! It’s old-school, but it’s fresh at the same time. And as far as people go, these artists are top-notch, A-one, good-good people. Mister and I are truly grateful to know these souls.

We are also truly grateful to own some of their art. What a cool reminder of our friends…
