Ah… Progress.
So this last session found me getting rid of the “toilet” beneath the upside-down-man’s butt and now it’s a stone post. I also made some progress on the left side, which is tricky. That area isn’t yet finished, but progress counts.
If you think it doesn’t look like much was done, you may be right. But I assure you – it took time. Very little of this painting is detailed. Most of it is merely suggestive. Getting the stone post right demanded attention. As it’s one of the only detailed parts of the painting, I needed to at least try and get the dimensions sort of right. I’m satisfied with it, which, for me, is saying something.
Believe it or not, it’s taken me this long to get excited about this painting, but now I’m starting to feel it! And it’s finally becoming fun. Yippee!
