I took a break from this painting, as I started work on another and sewed a fabulous dress for a costume. So much creativity! But I have gotten back to this work and here’s the progress…
I’m working from the back forward. The building has to be complete before I can add everything in front of it. And the building is challenging me, as I’m opting for a looser style than what I’d ordinarily choose. So those balconies… They’re not straight. The angles are off. I could list a jillion other problems, but I’m attempting to let go on this one. From the beginning, I knew I was hoping for something different. It’s not easy for me, but I’m trying. That counts, right?
Note the missing toilet. Told you it wasn’t what it looked like.
