Happy Halloween!

Don’t know what you’ll be doing today, but I’ll be eating something with pumpkin in it. And maybe enjoying the costumes worn by the kiddos. And maybe laughing with friends.

Sounds like a pretty nice Halloween.

D-Squared T-Squared – Week 44

This past weekend was, as you know, Halloween. So I talked it over with Mister and set a goal: carve a pumpkin to look like a kid we know.

We happen to like this kid, and we also happen to like his parents. So it mattered to us. But we also figured, worst case scenario – just toss the danged thang in the trash. It was worth a shot, right?

After muddling around with a picture in Photoshop – the longest part of the project – we deemed the affected photo acceptable. The rest, as they say…

In the end, I didn’t think the punkin looked much like the kid, but it wasn’t offensive either. Our friends liked it, and that’s all that mattered.

For the record, I wanted to add devil horns. But you know how people be about they babies.
