When working on a painting, it always amazes me how many layers one must apply to achieve a desired effect.
Part of me thinks I’ve accomplished quite enough depth on the tree portion of my current work, but noooooooooooo! I need more. So even though I’m so, so close to finishing, I’m not quite there yet.
But soon. And then I’ll start praying for the commissioners to like the danged thang. You never can tell, y’all.
