The other night I was at the painting studio. I’ve missed a few weeks and it was good to get back. I managed to get the face done on the painting I’m tackling. I’ve got a ways to go, but I’ll get there. Eventually.

 

At some point, I took a break and looked around the studio. (That’s how I do.) Leaning against the wall in a corner, I found this:

Mister reminded me that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I’ll think on that one. In the meantime, I’ll keep plugging away on my newest, original work. That’s also how I do.
